Golden Veil Bridal was created with a simple idea — finding your wedding dress should feel exciting, beautiful and special without having to spend thousands more than you need to.
Our collection is carefully sourced from established bridal brands and designer labels, giving brides the opportunity to find beautiful designer gowns, bridal minis and veils at significantly reduced prices.
We do not manufacture our own gowns. Our dresses are existing designer styles sourced in specific sizes and quantities, which means we cannot custom-make a gown, reorder a style in another size, or make a dress to individual measurements unless a listing specifically says otherwise.
Many gowns are brand new with tags, while others may be carefully selected boutique samples or ex-display gowns. The condition of each piece is stated on its individual listing and supported by detailed photographs. Many pieces are one-offs, so once a gown is sold it may not be available again.
Bridal sizing can differ from everyday clothing sizes, so we recommend checking measurements rather than relying only on the size on the tag. Alterations are not included; an independent bridal seamstress can advise what alterations may be possible for an individual gown.
Brides are welcome to arrange a try-on in Rolleston, Canterbury, or contact us for additional photographs, measurements and information before purchasing.
BEFORE YOU BUY
No. Our gowns are sourced from established bridal brands and labels. They are sold in the size and condition shown on the individual listing and cannot be custom-made or reordered by Golden Veil Bridal.
Bridal sizing can differ from normal clothing sizes. We recommend requesting or checking measurements before purchasing and not relying solely on the size number on the label.
No. Alterations are not included. An independent bridal seamstress can assess the gown and advise what alterations may be possible. We cannot guarantee that a gown can be sized up, sized down or otherwise altered.
Yes. Try-ons can be arranged in Rolleston, Canterbury. Please treat all gowns with care. We ask that you wear little to no makeup when trying on a gown to help prevent marks or staining.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the gown while trying it on. If a gown is damaged, marked or stained during your appointment, you may be required to cover the reasonable cost of professional cleaning or repair. If the damage is significant and the gown can no longer reasonably be sold in its previous condition, you may be required to purchase it.
All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind. Please review the listing, photographs, measurements and condition carefully and ask any questions before purchasing.
Sample and ex-display gowns may show signs consistent with being tried on or displayed. Their condition will be described in the listing and shown in photographs. Please review these carefully before purchasing.
NZ-wide shipping is available where stated. Shipping costs and arrangements can be confirmed before purchase. Pickup can also be arranged in Rolleston, Canterbury.
